DEADLOCKS
A Deadlock is a mechanical device fitted to a vehicle door. It operates by throwing a bolt into a receiver fitted to the opposing body section when operated by an external key. As Deadlocks are under the control of the driver, they are generally only appropriate for owner drivers or applications where the driver can be relied upon to operate the lock.
Slamlocks
A slamlock is a device that automatically locks the vehicle door immediately it is shut, without requiring any operation by the driver. It is primarily designed for applications such as multi drop delivery, high value loads and applications where the owner/ operator requires control over the security of their goods. It is the function that appeals as much as the security.
Transit Replocks
A direct replacement high security anti-pick cylinder that prevents thieves from picking the driver’s door open to gain access to the vehicle. From here they can steal the car/van in its entirety by overriding the immobiliser via the OBD socket or empty the contents from the unlocked load area., thieves are picking the driver’s door lock, gaining access without causing damage then they are plugging a device into the OBD socket which bypasses the immobiliser, then driving away in the vehicle.

ODB Protectors
Thieves have discovered a new way to steal your van via overriding the manufacturer’s immobilisation system by connecting a Laptop/PDA/EDI Key into the OBD socket and programming a new key into the ECU.
They start by picking/decoding the manufacturer’s door lock with a Tibbe pick (that can be easily found online) which unlocks all the doors, disables the alarm and gives them the key combination for your car/van so they can get a key cut with a new chip or just pick the ignition with the code obtained from the drivers door — All without causing any damage or making any noise
Once the key is cut they return to the van, unlock the doors with the new key and then connect their Laptop/PDA/EDI Key into the OBD/ECU connection where they can program in the new key or ‘kid’ the vehicle into thinking the correct chipped key is present, start the vehicle and drive it away.
Our Thatcham Quality Assured, Patented OBD/ECU Connection Protection Device encompasses the OBD plug in a Secure Box which is then attached to the crash bar behind the dashboard and can only be unlocked with the correct high security key. Installation takes around 10-20 minutes and doesn’t require any special tools. No wires are cut or tampered with which doesn’t invalidate manufacturers warranties etc.

ECU Covers
ECU GUARD – A Unique Patented Shield to stop the attack on the ECU (Electronic Control Unit) under the bonnet.
Thieves are removing the plastic wing/wheel arch at the front of the vehicle which exposes the ECU. By forcibly removing the two electric plugs & plugging them into a second ECU with a matched key they can press the unlock button on the new remote which will unlock the van & turn off the alarm system (including any retrofitted CAN Alarm systems). The thieves can then open the cab doors, put the key in the electronic ignition and start the vehicle. Our device secures the ECU with high security fixings preventing this type of attack from happening.
Note: There are different ECU Positions depending on the year of manufacture (Euro 4 & Euro 5)
